About the Role

Become a part of Hire Hangar's expanding financial services team where you will hold a critical role in evaluating financial applications accurately to support growing global companies. This fully remote opportunity is based on US Eastern Time Zone and demands a detail-focused approach to underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully review financial applications along with all supporting documents.
• Enter and maintain precise data across various underwriting systems and platforms.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of submitted information through thorough verification.
• Evaluate risks and make decisions in strict accordance with underwriting guidelines.
• Identify and report discrepancies or missing details for correction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain smooth workflows and timely case processing.
• Keep systematic and updated records of all underwriting cases.
• Consistently comply with all internal policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in financial underwriting or similar data-intensive finance roles.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong drive for accuracy.
• Ability to work autonomously while handling a steady workload.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, for interaction with US clients.
• Availability to work full-time during US Eastern Standard Time hours.
• Proven experience working remotely is mandatory; candidates without it will not be considered.
• Experience collaborating with clients based in the United States.

Preferred Skills

• Background in financial services sectors such as lending, insurance, or credit evaluation.
• Familiarity with underwriting software and financial data platforms.
• Experience managing tasks in a high-volume, process-oriented environment.

Tools and Technologies

• Underwriting and financial data management platforms.
• CRM and case handling software.
• Productivity software including Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Communication tools like Slack, Zoom, or their equivalents.
