Role Overview

This position is a contract-based, on-site role located in Sydney, NSW, targeted at a UI/UX Quality Assurance professional. Responsibilities include thoroughly examining and validating user interfaces and user experiences on both web and mobile platforms to confirm visual uniformity, ease of use, and responsiveness. Key activities involve comparing designed mockups and prototypes with the delivered features, executing both functional and exploratory UI testing, and documenting precise and actionable defects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review mockups and prototypes to ensure fidelity to planned designs and branding guidelines.
  • Perform detailed functional and exploratory tests on UI elements across multiple platforms.
  • Identify and report UI/UX issues with clear and actionable documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with design and front-end development teams, contributing feedback during design and sprint review sessions.
  • Help maintain high quality standards by assisting in developing test plans and regression testing suites.
  • Support the continuous enhancement of the Bright health platform through feedback and quality assessments.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Solid understanding of user experience design principles, including usability evaluation, interaction flow, and information structure.
  • Proficient in assessing visual materials such as mockups and design assets for precise implementation and consistent branding.
  • Experience with prototyping tools to validate the accuracy of prototype-to-product translation.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, aiding in the recognition of UI issues.
  • Background in UI/UX or product-focused quality assurance, encompassing test case formulation and defect management for web and mobile applications.
  • Capability to work effectively in agile product teams alongside managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines, or comparable practical experience.
  • Experience within digital health, wellness, or consumer application domains is advantageous.
