Ubuntu/Linux User for AI Data Training (Contract, Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking individuals who regularly use Ubuntu/Linux operating systems to join our AI data training team. No previous artificial intelligence experience is necessary. Candidates should be adept at operating Ubuntu, comfortable installing software, and capable of independently handling technical assignments with precision.

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere closely to detailed written instructions.
• Install and operate necessary applications on your Ubuntu/Linux machine.
• Review completed work thoroughly to eliminate errors before submission.
• Detect and report any inconsistencies, ambiguities in instructions, or technical problems encountered.
• Maintain concentration during tasks that require repetition or attention to detail.
• Complete assigned tasks according to agreed weekly availability.
• Communicate clearly with the project team when requiring assistance.
• Support the enhancement of AI model training data quality.

Candidate Profile

• Own a personal computer running Ubuntu/Linux operating system.
• Able to install project-specific software and tools autonomously.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to follow setup guides independently.
• Available for around 15 hours weekly.
• Exhibit patience, focus, and a strong eye for detail.
• Follow written directions consistently and diligently.
• Comfortable performing structured, sometimes repetitive tasks.
• Possess basic computer skills and familiarity with browser-based applications.
• Dependable, responsive, and punctual in meeting deadlines.
• Welcoming candidates who are students or at a junior career level.
• Prior experience in AI data labeling, quality assurance, software testing, or research is advantageous but not mandatory.
