About the Role
Join PayTech Group as a User Acceptance Tester focusing on Cards & Payments within our Technology Delivery division in Doha, Qatar. This 12-month full-time position reporting to the Head of Cards Technology/ QA & UAT Lead involves ensuring the quality and compliance of card products that serve millions of customers. Your work will facilitate reliable, compliant, and user-valued card product launches and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into thorough UAT test scenarios, cases, and data focusing on card issuance, authorizations, settlements, disputes, rewards, and loyalty across Credit, Debit, and Prepaid card products.
- Conduct end-to-end transaction validation across CMS, switching systems, scheme connectivity, and partner platforms for ATM, POS, and e-commerce transactions.
- Manage defect logging, triage, tracking, and retesting to ensure closure and regression testing integrity.
- Collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to maintain momentum in test cycles and swiftly resolve blockers.
- Generate comprehensive UAT execution reports, traceability matrices, and secure formal business sign-off prior to releases and optimizations, ensuring adherence to launch dependencies like card profiles, KYC/AML protocols, and fee structures.
- Review and analyze Business Requirement Documents and functional specs to guarantee comprehensive UAT test coverage.
- Maintain compliance with card scheme mandates and applicable banking regulations relevant to card products in the GCC/Qatar context.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 to 8 years’ experience specializing in UAT/QA testing within banking and payment environments, notably involving card product launches and compliance-based card programs.
- Hands-on proficiency in UAT for card issuance, transaction processing, settlements, disputes, and loyalty programs.
- Practical knowledge of Card Management Systems such as Way4, TSYS PRIME, or other equivalent platforms.
- Experienced with defect management tools including Azure DevOps and/or JIRA.
- Strong command of English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with payment schemes (Mastercard, Visa) and payment processing platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to produce traceability and reporting documentation, along with ownership of business-level approvals.
- Mandated to be available immediately and to work onsite in Doha.
