Role Overview

This full-time position involves delivering hybrid tutoring services, combining online instruction with in-person sessions within Singapore. Tutors will support students following IGCSE, A Level, Singapore National Curriculum, and IB programs by conducting focused, individual lessons. Responsibilities include clarifying subject concepts, assisting with practice problems, and preparing students for their academic evaluations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be able to travel within Singapore to conduct home tuition at various venues, including student homes, public libraries, or cafes.
• Demonstrated expertise in subjects such as Mathematics, Sciences, English, or Humanities aligned with IGCSE, A Level, Singapore National, or IB curricula.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to build rapport with students, actively listen, and tailor explanations to diverse learning preferences.
• Proficient with online teaching technology, including reliable internet connection, video conferencing software, and digital educational tools.
• Organizational skills to plan lessons effectively, adhere to schedules, and document student progress accurately.
• Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring—preferably with IGCSE or IB students in Singapore or international schools—is advantageous.
• Commitment to professionalism including punctuality, responsiveness, and compliance with Tutopiya's academic and ethical guidelines.
