Job description

Role overview

This is a 12-month contract opportunity for an Enforcement Specialist based in Singapore. The role focuses on applying client policies accurately, handling complex content decisions, and supporting improvements to enforcement operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and apply the client’s terms of service with consistency and precision.
  • Act as a subject-matter contributor for policy enforcement across the assigned market or region, including Community Standards, advertiser policies, commerce rules, and product-specific guidance.
  • Use fluency in the local language and strong cultural, geopolitical, and community awareness to evaluate content that needs regional context.
  • Collect, study, and apply data and escalation patterns to suggest improvements in escalation handling, policy interpretation, and product/process design.
  • Maintain strong decision quality and meet or exceed the required accuracy benchmarks.
  • Handle urgent escalations and ambiguous cases with composure, working with cross-functional specialists when needed to reach timely resolutions.
  • Stay current on workflow updates, operating procedures, policy changes, and enforcement standards.
  • Use internal tools, systems, and data to identify trends, generate insights, and help shape operational goals.
  • Assess sensitive material such as graphic imagery, videos, written content, offensive language, and other harmful or objectionable content.
  • Evaluate how different forms of online speech and behavior may affect society, and test operational assumptions and hypotheses about online activity.

Minimum qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in online operations, analysis, project coordination, consulting, escalations, or a related environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Well organized, proactive, and able to manage priorities effectively.
  • Hands-on experience reviewing graphic or objectionable content.
  • Experience moving high-priority cases through resolution workflows.
  • Background coordinating projects with multiple global cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfort communicating clearly with different audiences.

Preferred qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, online operations, or a similar technology-company role.
  • Proven accuracy in high-volume review or enforcement work.
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure, tight timelines, and competing demands.
  • Familiarity with moderation tools and queue-based workflow systems.
  • Awareness of how the social media ecosystem is evolving.
