Treasury Manager - Operations

Role overview

MongoDB is hiring a Treasury Manager to establish and support its treasury function from the Dublin office. This position plays an important part in managing cash and liquidity for EMEA and APAC, strengthening payment controls across the region, and supporting the rollout of Kyriba across international subsidiaries.

This role follows a hybrid arrangement for candidates based in Dublin, with an expectation to work from the Dublin office 1 to 2 days each week.

Core responsibilities

• Handle daily cash positioning, cash concentration, and funding activity across EMEA bank accounts and multi-currency cash pools.
• Oversee short-term investments and debt across the region, aiming to improve returns, reduce surplus cash, and manage counterparty risk.
• Act as the main contact for day-to-day treasury matters raised by international business units.
• Manage regional bank account records and administration, including efficient banking usage and review of related fees.
• Improve internal controls and security measures for payments initiated by EMEA and APAC entities.
• Create and maintain policies covering intercompany funding, bank transfers, and anti-fraud controls.
• Ensure compliance with global treasury standards, SOX controls, and applicable local regulatory obligations.
• Carry out foreign exchange transactions to support hedging requirements and operational activity.
• Act as the regional SME for the global Treasury Management System rollout, including testing and deployment support for EMEA and APAC entities.
• Help standardize and centralize payment processes within the new treasury system.
• Train and support regional finance and accounting teams on treasury tools and processes.
• Build and consolidate cash flow forecasts, assess FX exposure, and partner with business leaders to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Support reporting needs related to debt, investments, and foreign currency exposure for regional entities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in corporate or banking treasury, including hands-on management of EMEA or multi-currency cash and liquidity.
• Strong experience using a Treasury Management System, with implementation exposure preferred; Kyriba is ideal.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of complex international banking structures such as pooling and netting.
• Professional certifications such as CIMA or ACCA are an advantage, and CTP is considered a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland and able to attend the Dublin office 1 to 2 days per week.
