Job description
Role overview
An established entrepreneurial family in the UK is seeking an experienced Personal Household Manager / Private PA to become a trusted support to the principals. The position is broad, hands-on and fast-moving, with a strong need for sound judgment, confidentiality and a service-first approach.
This is not a standard Private PA role. You will act as a central contact for the principals’ personal matters, oversee several homes, coordinate household activity, organise substantial international travel and make sure daily operations continue smoothly wherever the principals are located.
About 70–80% of the position is focused on supporting the lady of the household and collaborating with the wider household and professional teams.
Core responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple residences and the systems that keep them running, while also handling travel logistics and day-to-day personal support for the principals. The role requires a proactive approach, the ability to prioritise quickly and the confidence to take ownership of sensitive matters.
Candidate profile
The family is looking for someone highly experienced in supporting UHNW principals in a Private PA or Household Manager capacity. The ideal person will bring strong organisational ability, excellent attention to detail, discretion, emotional intelligence and practical common sense. Clear communication, reliability, initiative and a calm manner are essential.
A stable work history, strong references and evidence of long-term commitment in previous roles are important. Because travel is a major part of the job, the right candidate must be flexible and comfortable spending extended periods away with the principals.
What success looks like
This opportunity suits an intelligent and highly capable professional who can anticipate needs, resolve issues before they escalate and adapt easily to a constantly changing environment. The family values trust, professionalism and consistently high standards.
Additional information
The role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom and is full-time, onsite. It is designed for an experienced professional seeking a long-term position with a respected family.
