Role Overview

This position is for a full-time, on-site Travel Consultant located in Kozhikode. Responsibilities include advising clients on travel choices, developing itineraries, and organizing all travel components such as flights, accommodations, and local transportation. The daily routine involves managing reservations, addressing customer inquiries, resolving booking concerns, and ensuring precision in travel documents. The consultant must stay informed about travel regulations, competitive pricing, and special promotions, while liaising with vendors and partners to secure optimal options. Post-booking support and feedback management are also key tasks, alongside contributing to service process enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in Travel Consulting and Management, capable of crafting and improving travel plans to suit varied client requirements.
• Practical experience with bookings and reservations including ticketing, lodging, and itinerary coordination.
• Strong customer service aptitude with skills in communication, problem resolution, and relationship maintenance.
• Familiarity with travel industry systems, booking platforms, and relevant geographical knowledge for both domestic and international travel.
• Meticulous attention to detail ensuring accuracy in documentation, scheduling, and cost assessments.
• Ability to perform effectively onsite in Kozhikode, multitask, and meet deadlines within a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English and local languages; additional language abilities are a plus.
• Previous experience in travel agencies or hospitality is advantageous but not essential.
• Educational background such as a diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related studies is preferable.
