Transport Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for an energetic and well-organized Transport Incharge to lead and supervise our transportation functions. The candidate should demonstrate strong expertise in logistics and transport management with a solid history of effective oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and upkeep a fleet of vehicles by arranging timely maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Hire, instruct, and manage drivers to ensure they comply with safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Design optimized routes and schedules that improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and other departments to coordinate transportation efforts.
• Keep track of transportation expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement controls.
• Analyze transportation KPIs regularly to assess and enhance operational performance.
• Ensure all activities adhere to transportation safety laws and standards.
• Create and enforce emergency response plans to manage any transportation-related incidents effectively.
