Role Overview

This position involves planning and delivering comprehensive training programs targeted at both internal and external employees within the banking and financial sector. The role aims to improve the skill set of Relationship Officers by facilitating client interactions and enhancing business conversions through effective knowledge dissemination.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement training schedules for Relationship Officers to update their skills and knowledge, including in-branch involvement for client discussions and business conversion support.
• Address queries from internal employees through telephone and email communication to provide timely support.
• Arrange and execute external employee training by devising a monthly training calendar in consultation with sales stakeholders and conducting sessions by visiting branch locations within assigned territories.
• Maintain detailed records of training activities and client conversations for monitoring and assessment purposes.
• Create educational materials such as one-pagers, presentations, product comparisons, calculators, and sales kits to support stakeholders and enhance training effectiveness.
• Commit to continuous self-learning by completing certifications including Licentiate, Associate, Fellowship, and NCFM, as well as attending external professional training programs to stay abreast of the financial sector developments.
• Meet key performance indicators which include a minimum of 16 mandays of training and 6 sales calls monthly; ensure consistent activity among all Relationship Officers and branch operations within the designated area.
