Overview

LiveOnNY is hiring a Training Coordinator to help run its training and education efforts smoothly on a day-to-day basis. The role focuses on organizing logistics, monitoring training completion, and keeping all training activities well structured, accurate, and properly recorded.

You will partner with the Program Manager, education staff, and operational leaders to make sure learning programs are delivered consistently and efficiently across the organization and with hospital partners. A large part of the job is maintaining schedules, supporting the learning management system, handling documentation, and keeping communication clear while meeting regulatory and organizational expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange training sessions such as onboarding, compliance courses, and role-specific education.
  • Handle the practical details for training events, including room setup, materials, attendance logs, and virtual session support.
  • Keep training calendars and schedules current and easy to access.
  • Make sure training resources are organized, current, and readily available.
  • Manage training assignments and monitoring within the learning management system, including platforms such as Saba Cornerstone.
  • Track completion of required training and follow up with employees and leaders on pending items.
  • Prepare simple reports covering attendance, training completion, and compliance status.
  • Maintain complete and accurate training records and supporting documentation.
  • Help prepare training content such as presentations, handouts, and participant materials.
  • Support workshops, simulation sessions, and other in-person learning activities.
  • Send invitations, reminders, and session instructions to participants.
  • Provide administrative help for curriculum revisions and other training projects.
  • Ensure records meet documentation expectations tied to CMS Conditions for Coverage, OPTN policies, and New York State regulatory standards.
  • Support audit readiness by keeping training documentation organized and complete.
  • Assist with competency tracking and required attestations.
  • Act as a contact person for training coordination across departments such as Donation Operations, Hospital Services, and Recovery.
  • Communicate schedules, changes, and requirements in a professional and clear way.
  • Flag conflicts, gaps, or issues to the Program Manager or leadership when needed.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in administrative coordination, training coordination, or program support is needed.
  • Prior exposure to training, education, or onboarding programs is preferred.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management abilities are essential.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or other regulated settings is a plus.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems, such as Saba Cornerstone, is preferred.
  • Experience tracking compliance or training completion data is helpful.
  • Exposure to clinical or hospital-based environments is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $52,000 to $77,000 per year.
