About the Role

We are looking for an organized and proactive Training Coordinator to oversee the planning, coordination, and administration of our employee training and development initiatives. Based in New York, NY, this full-time onsite role involves managing training programs to help employees enhance their skills and knowledge effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and schedule training sessions, workshops, and development programs for employees.
  • Manage calendars, registration processes, attendance tracking, and preparation of learning materials.
  • Disseminate training information and schedules to employees and stakeholders.
  • Support onboarding activities and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate training records to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal trainers, external vendors, and managers across departments.
  • Generate training reports and analyze the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Assist in creating and distributing training resources and materials.
  • Gather participant feedback and propose enhancements to training programs.
  • Deliver administrative support for various learning and development projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • Between 1 to 3 years of experience in training coordination, HR, learning and development, or administrative roles.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities efficiently.
  • Capable of working independently as well as in team settings within a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Understanding of employee training best practices and development programs.
  • Experience in coordinating corporate training or onboarding processes.
  • Knowledge of HR procedures and performance development efforts.
  • Professional certifications related to Learning & Development or Human Resources are advantageous.
