Job Overview
This role involves preparing comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring adherence to accounting frameworks such as IFRS/GAAP and internal company standards. The trainee will play a vital role in supporting the close processes at month-end and year-end, performing detailed account reconciliations, analyzing financial variances, and assisting with both internal and external audit procedures. Strong collaboration across departments is essential to optimize reporting workflows and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create periodic financial statements and reports aligned with financial regulations and company policies.
- Support the completion of month-end and year-end accounting closes.
- Conduct reconciliations of accounts and investigate any discrepancies.
- Participate in audit activities by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Work collaboratively with various teams to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a bachelor's degree focused on Accounting or Finance disciplines.
- Have between 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in financial reporting or accounting.
- Demonstrate strong familiarity with financial statements and accounting principles.
- Exhibit proficiency with Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning systems, preferably SAP or Oracle.
- Showcase analytical thinking, effective communication abilities, and problem-solving proficiency.
