About the Role

Ventia is recruiting for a part-time Train Cleaner position based at Kalgoorlie Train Station, Western Australia. This casual role offers an hourly wage of $34.96 plus superannuation with the possibility of becoming a permanent employee dependent on your performance. Shifts are afternoon hours from Monday to Friday, typically 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with slightly flexible finishing times tied to train schedules. Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of train carriages and station facilities
• Mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming floors
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces
• Cleaning public amenities and high-traffic areas
• Removing rubbish and waste effectively
• Sanitising frequently touched surfaces
• Cleaning windows and glass surfaces

Qualifications and Requirements

• Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety
• Capable of performing physical cleaning tasks throughout shifts
• Possession of a current National Police Clearance issued within the last 3 months
• Ability to pass medical, drug, and alcohol screenings
• Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory
