Role Overview
Traffic Force is hiring two Traffic Planners to support a growing pipeline of contracts and projects. This is a full-time remote position based in South Africa, with a Monday to Friday schedule and an 8-hour workday.

The business supports major road and infrastructure work through traffic planning and design, accredited traffic controllers, equipment hire, and specialist support services. The company aims to understand client needs, deliver practical solutions, reduce costs where possible, and maintain high industry standards.
What You’ll Do
- Create traffic management plans for a range of projects.
- Prepare traffic guidance schemes using Rapidplan.
- Communicate with customers to develop strong, long-term working relationships.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders as part of project delivery.
- Keep project management platforms updated with current progress and task information.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is highly organised, accurate, deadline-driven, and comfortable approaching challenges with a practical and creative mindset. You should be able to work independently, follow structured procedures, and communicate clearly in both written and spoken form.
- A Bachelor of Engineering is required, with Civil Engineering preferred.
- At least 12 months of experience in the roads and transportation sector is needed.
- A valid passport, or the ability to obtain one, is required.
- An experienced South African driver’s licence that meets Department of Transport WA recognition requirements is required.
- Hands-on experience with drafting tools such as AutoCAD is expected.
- You must have your own computer, dependable high-speed internet, two monitors, and a noise-cancelling headset.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow documented processes are essential.
- Good analytical thinking and creative problem-solving ability are important.
- You should be confident working with different people and recording information in digital task and operating systems every day.
Schedule and Work Setup
The role follows a Monday-to-Friday day shift, with an 8-hour workday and start/finish hours designed to align with a shared time zone similar to the Philippines.
