- Manage channel advertising campaigns from inception to launch, collaborating with internal teams and retailer contacts to guarantee timely, brand-consistent delivery.
- Create and update retailer support documents such as go-to-market (GTM) decks, product launch presentations, campaign summaries, and social/influencer campaign briefs.
- Compile recap decks analyzing campaign outcomes, sales data, and insights for retailer debriefings.
- Maintain the trade marketing calendar to monitor retailer deadlines, campaign schedules, and product launch windows across accounts.
- Collaborate closely with Ulta and Target account teams to assist with retailer-specific marketing initiatives, promotional timelines, and campaign requests.
- Coordinate with creative departments to ensure retailer-specific assets like banners, signage, and digital content are delivered on time and comply with specifications.
- Support budgeting and expenditure tracking for channel advertising projects, flagging any discrepancies and assisting with reconciliations.
- Conduct competitive and marketplace research to inform trade marketing tactics and reveal potential growth opportunities within partner environments.
- Help execute retailer-led events and new store openings by aiding in coordinating experiential activations as required.
- Provide ad hoc reporting, presentation development, and administrative support to the Director of Marketing.
- Work cross-functionally with social media/influencer teams, sales, e-commerce, and creative teams to align marketing initiatives and ensure deadlines are met.
Candidate Profile
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail, adept at managing multiple retailers, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, able to simplify complex retailer needs and campaign results into clear, easy-to-digest materials.
- Collaborative nature, reliable in partnering with sales, creative, and marketing departments.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret data and craft compelling narratives in recap decks.
- Proactive self-starter who anticipates needs and drives projects forward independently.
- Passionate about the retail and beauty sectors, enthusiastic about brand success across physical and online shelves.
Required Experience and Skills
- Between 1 and 2 years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, account management, or a related discipline.
- Previous work experience with beauty retail partners such as Ulta, Sephora, or Target is mandatory.
- Familiarity supporting channel advertising campaigns and retailer marketing programs across wholesale, e-commerce, and physical store channels.
- Skilled at creating recap decks and other presentation materials targeting retailer audiences.
- Exceptional organization and project management capabilities, comfortable juggling multiple retailer calendars and deadlines.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills capable of synthesizing data to form evidence-based recommendations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel, with ability to produce professional presentations under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills geared toward diverse internal and external audiences.
- Able to work cross-departmentally in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple responsibilities with precision and detail orientation.
- Experience in beauty or personal care industry a plus.
Relationships and Travel
- Directly reports to the Director of Marketing.
