Track Worker / Rail Track Builder (Gleisbauer:in)

Overview

DB InfraGO AG is looking for a rail track builder to join the Berlin team as soon as possible. This role is part of a large rail organization that offers long-term job prospects and opportunities for both experienced professionals and career starters. The workplace is in Berlin, Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out ongoing upkeep of the rail network and track systems.
• Independently and reliably perform inspection, maintenance, and repair work on components such as rails, sleepers, and the track bed.
• Keep the safety of fellow team members in mind at all times while working.
• Take part in the company’s internal qualification program, attend regular training sessions, and continuously build your expertise.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a rail track builder or in a closely related trade.
• Strong motivation and suitability for gaining additional qualifications in track infrastructure work.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as well as to work outdoors.
• Comfort with physically demanding tasks and a preference for teamwork.
• Valid category B driving licence.
