Opportunity Overview
Stantec is seeking experienced Town Planners to join its expanding teams across multiple UK locations, including Birmingham. These roles offer the chance to work on diverse, engaging projects and present excellent career growth prospects within an established and growing company.
About the Role
Successful candidates will have planning experience from consultancy, private, or public sectors, with a preference for those chartered with MRTPI or pursuing chartership. The projects cover residential, mixed-use, strategic, commercial, and energy developments. Responsibilities include preparing, submitting, and negotiating planning applications, with senior roles involving lodging appeals and participating in informal hearings. Candidates should be skilled in leading multidisciplinary project teams and maintaining high standards through quality assurance. Building and sustaining client relationships by delivering expert advice and service is also integral. Local knowledge in desired regions is valued but not essential. Holding a full UK driving license and car access is preferred.
