Role Overview

Global Pacific Support is looking for an experienced and highly organized Towing Operations Manager to lead its towing function. In this role, you will ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly, the team performs effectively, and customers receive dependable service. The position calls for a strong leader who understands towing industry standards, compliance requirements, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the daily towing workflow so service is delivered promptly and to a high standard.
  • Lead and support towing staff, including drivers, dispatchers, and other operational team members.
  • Create and refine procedures and operating guidelines that improve safety and productivity.
  • Track vehicle upkeep and make sure the fleet remains serviced and aligned with safety rules.
  • Work with other teams to improve how people, vehicles, and resources are assigned.
  • Resolve customer questions and complaints in a professional and service-focused manner.
  • Review operational data, including performance, cost, and productivity reports.
  • Maintain adherence to applicable local, state, and federal towing regulations.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new towing staff when required.
  • Keep current with industry practices, tools, and technology that can strengthen operations.

Requirements

  • Background in towing operations management or another similar supervisory position.
  • Solid understanding of towing regulations, safety practices, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage people effectively.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, along with strong people skills.
  • Comfort working under pressure while balancing several priorities at once.
  • Hands-on experience with dispatch systems and fleet management tools.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, reporting, and performance review processes.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • Availability for flexible schedules, including on-call duty when needed.
