Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a responsible and safety-aware tow truck operator to assist on race days at a speedway in Renwick, Marlborough. This position involves driving the tow truck during events, which occurs approximately 16 times per year, generally on alternate Saturday afternoons and evenings from 5 pm to 10 pm, with some variability depending on event schedules.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid driver's license, noting that the vehicles will not be driven on public roads.
- A strong focus on safety practices and awareness at all times.
- Common sense and the ability to follow instructions while also exercising independent judgment when necessary.
- Willingness and availability to attend training sessions relevant to the role.
Time Commitment
The role requires availability for about 16 events per year, typically every other Saturday afternoon and evening, approximately from 5 PM to 10 PM, though exact times may vary by event.
