Tourist Visa Consultant

About the Role

Variety Vacations is hiring a Tourist Visa Consultant for its Chandigarh office. This position is suited to someone with practical experience in tourist visa handling, client coordination, and documentation support for international trips.

Responsibilities

• Manage tourist visa cases for several countries.
• Advise clients on visa rules, eligibility criteria, and required paperwork.
• Check, prepare, and file visa applications with accuracy.
• Work with clients to gather and review the necessary documents.
• Monitor application progress and share timely status updates with clients.
• Keep up to date with embassy instructions, visa policy changes, and document requirements.
• Maintain organized and accurate records for each client file and application.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the visa journey.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in tourist visa processing.
• Background in a travel agency, visa consultancy, or immigration services firm is preferred.
• Strong understanding of tourist visa paperwork and submission procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication along with client management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple applications carefully and accurately.
• Comfortable using MS Office and basic computer tools.
• Detail-focused, well organized, and able to work independently.
• Capable of meeting deadlines while maintaining quality.

Work Details

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sector 17D, Chandigarh. Working days are Monday to Saturday, with hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Compensation

The salary range is ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 per month, and the final offer may be negotiated depending on experience.
