Role Overview
We are seeking a Total Rewards Specialist to join our People & Culture team remotely within India. This role primarily manages the daily compensation operations, payroll support, and employee exit processes, along with contributing strong analytical skills to uphold consistent and data-driven rewards throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage compensation administration tasks such as preparing employee cost to company (CTC) data for annual merit cycles and performing salary benchmarking using authorized survey sources.
- Maintain salary range tables, grade band schedules, and track all salary revisions and increments within HRIS and payroll systems precisely.
- Support monthly payroll by coordinating leave deductions, arrears, allowances, and one-time payments while verifying data accuracy and resolving discrepancies prior to processing.
- Conduct exit management responsibilities including computing full and final settlements (FNF), coordinating clearances with relevant departments, maintaining FNF trackers, and handling employee inquiries on settlements and related documentation.
- Develop and maintain Excel-based dashboards and trackers to monitor headcount costs, payroll variances, and compensation distribution.
- Create VBA macros to automate repetitive payroll and HR functions enhancing efficiency and precision.
- Analyze HR data to detect trends, outliers, and issues related to pay equity, and proactively resolve data quality problems within Total Rewards records.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates have 5 to 6 years of progressive exposure in Total Rewards, Compensation and Benefits, or HR Operations, preferably within mid-to-large IT or global service companies. Experience administering payroll, salary changes, and full and final settlements is essential. Knowledge of multi-country compensation frameworks is advantageous.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, pivot tables, dynamic dashboards, and data validation.
- Experience developing VBA macros for process automation in payroll and HR tasks.
- Strong capabilities in designing structured Excel workbooks based on complex formulas.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Darwinbox, Zoho People or similar.
- Understanding of payroll systems and salary computation processes.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools like Word and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration or related fields is required; an MBA or PGDM in HR and certifications like WorldatWork CCP or SHRM-CP are preferred.
