Tools and Automation Engineer

Role Overview

Join as a Tools and Automation Engineer responsible for enabling infrastructure management tools and spearheading AI adoption initiatives across multiple business units. This role involves close collaboration with senior team members on IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Artificial Intelligence Operations (AIOps) activities, along with vendor coordination and project monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support infrastructure management software solutions.
• Lead initiatives to incorporate AI technologies throughout business units.
• Oversee observability and digital transformation efforts, tracking progress and project health via dashboards and reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor project timelines and deliverables.
• Work alongside senior colleagues on ITOM and AIOps strategies.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Fundamental knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of observability technology and concepts.
• Awareness of patch management and asset lifecycle procedures.
• Keen interest in advancing skills in AIOps, ITOM, and AI-driven automation.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with automation platforms such as Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, and UiPath.
• Competency in programming/scripting languages and automation tools like Python and Ansible.
• Experience managing Active Directory environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a closely related discipline.
• Two to five years of practical experience working with data center technologies.
• Relevant certifications in ITSM, ITOM, and/or AI/ML technologies.

Technologies and Platforms

Exposure to AI/ML platforms such as Copilot, Vertex AI, DataBricks, and reporting tools like Power BI is desirable.
