Tool Crib Attendant / Shipper-Receiver

A vacancy is available for a Tool Crib Attendant/Shipper-Receiver to join the team in Windsor, Ontario.

Compensation

The role pays between CAD 19.00 and CAD 22.00 per hour.

What this role involves

• Submitting purchase-related inventory requests through the purchasing function
• Carrying out weekly stock checks and month-end counts for crib inventory
• Loading stock crib items into ToolBoss vending systems
• Receiving deliveries, unloading goods, checking shipments, and reporting any discrepancies or issues
• Confirming steel measurements against the material list
• Stamping packing slips as received
• Correctly identifying incoming jobs and placing them on the appropriate job shelf
• Preparing shipping labels
• Making deliveries or collecting supplies when needed
• Completing additional tasks assigned by the supervisor

What the employer is looking for

• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally within Tool & Die
• Strong computer proficiency
• Hands-on experience operating an overhead crane
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as a tape measure and vernier
• Comfort working in a busy, fast-moving environment
