Role Overview
The position of Token Markets Research Specialist involves supporting detailed market research, analyzing token ecosystems, gathering ecosystem intelligence, and producing industry reports concerning cryptocurrencies, blockchain, Web3, and digital asset markets. This full-time, paid remote role based in Singapore centers on understanding token markets, crypto market dynamics, blockchain ecosystems, and emerging token economy trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on token markets including cryptocurrency trends, digital assets, blockchain networks, Web3 projects, ICOs, and tokenized asset developments.
- Monitor token performance indicators, market structural shifts, liquidity conditions, trading volumes, investor behavior, regulatory developments, and ecosystem growth patterns.
- Prepare comprehensive research notes, updates on ecosystem intelligence, market summaries, detailed industry reports, and briefing documents.
- Keep track of changes and news within cryptocurrencies, ICOs, decentralized apps, exchanges, DeFi protocols, stablecoins, tokenized assets, and blockchain infrastructure.
- Assist analysis of token utility, market adoption rates, liquidity trajectories, community expansion, project fundamentals, and broader market trends related to token economies.
- Support research efforts on best practices, responsible market development, self-regulation frameworks, governance standards, and blockchain ecosystem expansion.
- Collaborate with team members on market research, ecosystem education projects, association activities, industry interactions, and token economy evaluations.
- Maintain well-organized research documentation, market trackers, token watchlists, project databases, ecosystem notes, and crypto intelligence tools.
Qualifications
- Deep interest in token markets, cryptocurrencies, digital assets, blockchain technology, Web3, token economy evolution, and decentralization.
- Knowledge of crypto market structures, tokenized assets, ICOs, dapps, DeFi, stablecoins, exchanges, or Web3 market dynamics.
- Understanding of market frameworks, liquidity analysis, token purpose, investor sentiment, project fundamentals, governance principles, and blockchain-based business strategies.
- Familiarity with crypto research software, market data platforms, blockchain explorers, DeFi monitoring tools, regulatory resources, or Web3 analytics is advantageous.
- Excellent capabilities in research, critical analysis, professional writing, organization, and communication.
- Ability to clearly communicate trends in token markets, developments in digital assets, crypto-related risks, and blockchain ecosystem insights.
- Comfortable initiating and working autonomously in a remote setting while managing various research and market intelligence duties simultaneously.
- Prior exposure to crypto research, market studies, fintech, investment research, blockchain projects, policy investigations, or working within industry groups is beneficial.

The estimated salary for this role ranges from SGD 120,000 to SGD 135,000 annually, dependent on the candidate's experience.
