Role overview
BOC Limited, part of Linde, is hiring a Freight Planner in Leixlip, Ireland. In this position, you will coordinate freight movements and shipment progress through the TMM ERP system while keeping supply chain activity on track and compliant.
Key responsibilities
- Track shipments from start to completion using the TMM ERP platform.
- Set up and maintain shipping line orders for OEM and consolidated gas/chemical locations, and keep system records current.
- Plan inbound deliveries and outbound returns with the external warehouse so operations run according to agreed service levels.
- Work with the TMM Supply Chain Manager to flag any shipment or process delays as soon as they arise.
- Handle customs documentation and coordinate closely with the designated freight clearance provider.
- Serve as the main contact for shipping line and consolidated warehouse activity for your assigned lane.
- Follow up on and resolve supplier invoice issues related to your area.
- Watch for any quality or safety concerns and raise them immediately to maintain compliance.
- Be available for extended working hours when needed to support continuous freight operations.
Candidate profile
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in freight or logistics is required.
- Working knowledge of Incoterms and customs processes in an FCA-related environment such as customs, logistics, trade compliance, or shipping.
- Hands-on experience with Harmonized Tariff codes or product classification.
- A qualification in Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, or Logistics Management is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills, including the use of formulas.
- Experience with multimodal transport across road, air, and sea.
