Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and client-focused Time and Attendance Specialist to join our remote team. This position requires proximity to an IPEX site located in Oakville (Ontario), Edmonton (Alberta), Langley (British Columbia), or Pineville (North Carolina).
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure precise management of workforce timekeeping, schedule coordination, leave administration, and payroll preparation for multiple locations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain the time and attendance systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Audit and verify employee timecards, schedules, and leave records for accuracy.
- Compile and reconcile time data to facilitate payroll processing.
- Validate payroll registers to confirm accuracy and completeness.
- Produce reports related to attendance and workforce metrics.
- Provide support to employees and managers regarding timekeeping issues and questions.
- Coordinate with HR, payroll, IT, and support teams for seamless system operation.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of four years’ professional experience in payroll or time and attendance management within a high-volume setting.
- Proficient with systems such as Dayforce, Kronos, ADP, Workday, or their equivalents.
- In-depth understanding of payroll procedures and labor law compliance.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
- Strong analytical abilities coupled with excellent organizational and customer service skills.
