Overview

The Time and Attendance Administrator is key to ensuring employee attendance standards are upheld, promoting operational efficiency and reliability through diligent monitoring and enforcement of policies. Working within the Operations team, this role supports compliance by addressing attendance issues and administering necessary corrective measures. Collaboration with Human Resources is essential to maintain consistent policy application and handle employee relations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Track attendance patterns such as absences, lateness, missed clock-ins, and unreported absences.
  • Coach employees on attendance expectations and how attendance affects operations.
  • Hold meetings to resolve attendance problems and clarify expectations.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of coaching sessions, disciplinary actions, and follow-ups.
  • Implement progressive disciplinary measures according to company standards.
  • Produce attendance and compliance reports for operational leadership.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, irregularities, and recurring problems.
  • Escalate attendance concerns to senior management when necessary.
  • Ensure attendance records are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Offer guidance on attendance policies and assist in employee relations matters and investigations.
  • Prepare and securely maintain documentation while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in attendance management, HR, operations coordination, or related investigative support roles.
  • Proven ability to coach employees and manage disciplinary processes.
  • Fluent communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This position functions primarily in a typical office setting equipped with computers, phones, and standard office machinery. The noise level reflects a normal office environment with frequent interruptions. The role is mainly sedentary but requires occasional mobility to access office files and equipment. Regular communication occurs in person, by phone, or written correspondence.
