The ideal person is highly active on social media, confident on camera, quick to spot emerging trends, and able to turn ideas into engaging content that feels native to the platform. This is a hands-on, high-output role for someone who enjoys moving quickly, experimenting creatively, and helping a brand grow through TikTok.
What you'll do
You will take ownership of day-to-day TikTok activity, content planning, creation, publishing, engagement, and performance review. The role combines strategy, production, and community management, with a strong focus on creating content that performs well and supports brand goals.
- Coordinate and manage everyday TikTok activity.
- Maintain the social content calendar and keep publishing aligned with campaigns, launches, and brand priorities.
- Develop trend-led and campaign-led content ideas for in-house TikTok production.
- Research daily platform trends, including sounds, formats, cultural moments, creators, and beauty conversations, and turn them into brand-appropriate concepts.
- Create repeatable content formats rather than only reacting to isolated trends.
- Track community activity, engagement patterns, and relevant conversations around the brand.
- Produce a high volume of TikTok content from concept through final posting.
- Film, edit, and publish videos that follow TikTok best practices such as strong hooks, appropriate pacing, native presentation, and effective captions.
- Create on-camera content, product education, transformation videos, routine content, UGC-style videos, and fast-turn reactive posts.
- Make sure every post matches brand tone, visual identity, and campaign messaging.
- Schedule and publish content using social management tools when needed.
- Monitor comments, direct messages, and community interactions, and escalate customer or brand issues internally when appropriate.
- Support audience growth through active participation in TikTok communities and conversations.
- Own promotional TikTok moments that require dedicated posting and event-style coverage.
- Plan content around key dates, produce assets quickly, and keep promotional posts feeling native rather than overly ad-like.
- Work with internal teams to ensure promotional content stays aligned with launches, offers, and campaigns.
- Deliver assigned concepts independently while adding your own creative perspective.
- Contribute ideas to larger campaigns and help shape the TikTok approach for broader marketing activity.
- Collaborate with creative, brand, product, communications, and paid media teams to keep content aligned and effective.
- Support influencer, creator, or partnership coordination where relevant.
- Use analytics and platform insights to understand what works and refine content quickly.
- Track performance metrics such as engagement, reach, retention, and audience growth.
- Adjust hooks, formats, cadence, and creative direction based on results.
- Stay current on platform changes, algorithm updates, and social media best practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience creating content for TikTok, with beauty or lifestyle experience strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in a Social Media Coordinator, Social Media Executive, Content Creator, or similar position.
- Strong creative judgment and the ability to turn trends into safe, brand-aligned, high-performing ideas at speed.
- Comfort appearing on camera and guiding other people on camera when needed.
- Good editing ability using tools such as CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of TikTok culture, formats, community behavior, and the factors that influence reach and retention.
- Familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools is beneficial.
- Excellent organisation, initiative, speed, and the ability to stay composed under deadline pressure.
