Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Tier 1 NOC Engineer to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for a contract position lasting at least 12 months. The successful candidate will be expected to manage and support Ground Gateway equipment key to satellite communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot Ground Gateway components such as downconverters, upconverters, RF filters and amplifiers.
- Operate and manage Antenna Control Units (ACU) along with Q/V Band antennas ensuring optimal performance.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with essential Ground Gateway devices including downconverters, upconverters, RF filters, RF amplifiers, ACUs, and Q/V band antennas.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field is preferable.
- Previous background in satellite communication systems or supporting Ground Gateway operations is highly desired.
- Possessing certifications in networking or satellite communications is an added advantage.
