Bay FC is the inaugural National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) team in the Bay Area, co-founded by four U.S. Women's National Team legends and partnering with the global investment firm Sixth Street. Role Overview
The Ticket Sales Executive for Groups is a key entry-to-mid level sales position focused on driving group ticket revenue. This role requires enthusiastic outreach efforts, developing client relationships, and maintaining high service standards to expand Bay FC's fanbase throughout the Bay Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively identify and cultivate group ticket sales opportunities with youth sports teams, schools, corporations, and community groups.
- Work toward and achieve set individual revenue goals with guidance from the Group Sales Manager.
- Manage the complete sales cycle including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing group sales contracts.
- Recognize and pursue upselling prospects including premium seating, hospitality packages, and multi-game deals.
- Customize and present proposals that align with clients' needs and objectives.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships to drive renewals and encourage referrals among group clients.
- Deliver exemplary client service throughout the sales process and during match day experiences.
- Collaborate effectively with sales teammates and support other departments such as marketing and community relations to enhance group experiences.
- Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and sales progress using CRM systems and ticketing platforms.
- Ensure smooth execution of group events on game days to provide memorable guest experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Between zero and two years of sales experience; prior exposure to sports, entertainment, or hospitality sectors is beneficial but not necessary.
- A strong drive to pursue a career specializing in sports sales armed with a competitive, target-oriented approach.
- Exceptional communication skills capable of engaging diverse audiences both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organizational skills with self-motivation and effective time management.
- Team-oriented personality with openness to feedback, coaching, and contributing positively to the workplace culture.
- Experience or familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce, Archtics, or TIXR is advantageous.
- A passion for women's soccer and knowledge of the NWSL scene are preferred.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and game days as required.
Compensation and Inclusivity
