About the role
JIGPC is hiring a Turnaround & Inspection (T&I) Engineer for its Maintenance function in Jazan, Saudi Arabia. The position focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering plant turnaround and inspection work so outages are carried out safely, on time, and within budget while supporting reliability, compliance, and overall operational performance.
What you will do
- Own the full cycle of turnaround and inspection planning and execution.
- Build detailed shutdown schedules, job scopes, and implementation plans.
- Make sure inspection work follows company requirements, safety rules, and applicable regulations.
- Track turnaround risks and take early action to reduce operational exposure.
- Review turnaround spending and look for ways to improve cost efficiency.
- Work with contractors, vendors, materials teams, equipment owners, and site resources to keep activities aligned.
- Manage readiness tasks before shutdown, including pre-fabrication and other preparation work.
- Compile after-action reports and keep maintenance documentation accurate and up to date.
- Support ongoing improvement in turnaround and inspection processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in turnaround planning and execution in industrial plants, power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar environments.
- Strong understanding of turnaround planning tools and methods.
- Hands-on exposure to inspection coordination, maintenance planning, and shutdown execution.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ISO standards, and asset management practices.
- Professional credentials such as API, ASME, PMP, OSHA, or NEBOSH are preferred.
- Experience in gasification or power generation facilities is highly desirable.
