Overview

We offer an exciting role within the Theatre Team at Ysbyty Gwynedd as a Band 3 Theatre Storekeeper and Omnicell System Administrator. This position involves managing the receipt and distribution of stock within the department using the Omnicell system to ensure timely and efficient ordering and supply adherence.

Key Responsibilities

The role requires working within Omnicell's constraints to manage goods’ intake, ensuring adherence to policy for stock rotation and minimisation of wastage. Supporting nursing, medical, and allied health professionals across various levels is fundamental, and flexibility in undertaking different stores-related activities is necessary.

Person Specification and Qualifications

  • Possess NVQ Level 3 in Business & Administration or equivalent practical experience
  • Good educational background equivalent to GCSEs
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development
  • Preferred knowledge includes Oracle ordering system, automated inventory systems, theatre stock familiarity, and Omnicell system experience
  • Demonstrated ability to solve operational problems and work independently
  • Experience training staff on automated storage systems
  • Proficiency in daily use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Understanding of theatre procedures, policies, and department operations
