Role Overview
This position involves maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards within a surgical theatre environment, complying with NHS National Specifications for Cleanliness. The Theatre Housekeeper is an essential team member ensuring that patients and staff experience a safe and sanitary setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high cleanliness standards across the theatre suite's communal areas.
- Work independently and collaboratively within the theatre team to uphold cleanliness and safety protocols.
- Support nursing staff by managing theatre scrubs inventory and keeping storerooms organized.
- Report or escalate any necessary repairs or additional cleaning tasks that fall under the scope of contracted cleaning services.
