Territory Service Representative

Role overview

This role focuses on handling both delivery and pickup activities within the assigned territory. The position requires careful shipment handling, accurate scanning and sorting, route-wise dispatch, customer acknowledgment capture, and timely coordination of cash-on-delivery and undelivered items.

Delivery duties

• Remove bags from the vehicle and manage shipments safely.
• Scan consignments accurately before movement.
• Carry out primary and secondary sorting.
• Dispatch shipments for delivery according to the planned route.
• Deliver parcels only to the address mentioned on the package.
• Collect acknowledgment from customers using the device provided (BYOD).
• Record the correct status code for shipments that cannot be delivered at the customer address.
• Follow the delivery process as explained during training.
• Submit cash-on-delivery collections to the supervisor on the same day.
• Return any undelivered shipments to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper dress code and carry the field bag to all delivery locations.

Pickup duties

• Complete pickups in line with SOP guidelines.
• Ensure pickups are completed on time at the customer location as per the cut-off schedule.
• Verify whether the customer location is serviceable.
• Count the shipments at the customer site and obtain acknowledgment on the pickup sheet.
• Scan the shipment at the office and complete Rapid entry.
• Carry out primary and secondary sorting of picked-up shipments.
• Prepare shipments through the bagging process.
• Load canvas bags into the vehicle.
• Reach the required location in time to maintain connection schedules.

Training and work expectations

The delivery process will be explained through training. The role expects discipline in following process steps, handling shipments carefully, and maintaining punctuality in both pickup and delivery operations.
