Territory Service Representative (Bikers) / Operations Staff

Role Overview

This on-ground logistics role combines pickup and delivery responsibilities for Blue Dart in Chennai. The position covers shipment handling, route-based movement, customer-facing delivery, pickup operations, and basic operational reporting. Training will be provided on the delivery process.

Territory Service Representative (Bikers) - Delivery Duties

• Unload shipment bags from the vehicle and manage them at the point of service.
• Scan shipments before movement and during delivery processing.
• Carry out primary and secondary sorting as required.
• Outscan parcels according to the assigned delivery route.
• Deliver packages only to the correct address mentioned on the shipment.
• Obtain customer acknowledgment through the device (BYOD).
• Record the appropriate status code when a shipment cannot be delivered at the customer location.
• Submit cash-on-delivery collections to the supervisor on the same day.
• Return all undelivered consignments to the supervisor.
• Maintain the required dress code and carry the field bag at every delivery point.

Territory Service Representative (Bikers) - Pickup Duties

• Complete pickups strictly as per SOP.
• Reach customer locations on time based on the cut-off schedule.
• Verify whether the pickup location is serviceable.
• Count shipments at the customer site and collect acknowledgment on the pickup sheet.
• Inscan shipments at the office and complete rapid entry.
• Perform primary and secondary sorting of collected shipments.
• Complete the bagging process before dispatch.
• Load canvas bags into the vehicle.
• Arrive at the required location in time to ensure smooth connection.

Operations Staff - Van Pickup and Delivery Duties

• Load shipments route-wise and ensure the tally matches correctly.
• Deliver consignments to the correct customers.
• Handle POD, FOD, DOD, and COD processes along with the delivery run sheet.
• Use the correct status code for any shipment that remains undelivered.
• Meet the EDD and contribute toward achieving SQ targets.
• Hand over COD, DOD, and FOD amounts on the same day.
• Return undelivered shipments to the supervisor without delay.
• Carry out appointment-based deliveries when required.
• Follow the dress code and maintain a customer-oriented approach.

Operations Staff - Pickup Duties

• Follow the pickup process as defined in the SOP.
• Collect shipments from the customer before the cut-off time.
• Execute airway bill processing properly.
• Match shipment quantities at the customer location with the invoice.
• Ensure all required regulatory documents are collected.
• Complete the pickup sheet accurately.
• Inspect package condition at the time of collection.
• Reach the location on time to support timely network connection.
