Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Territory Sales Representative based in Texas to cultivate growth within our green grass accounts. This full-time position involves managing an established client portfolio and pursuing new business opportunities throughout the Texas territory. The successful candidate excels at building relationships, especially through in-person engagements, and thrives in a fast-changing and dynamic environment. Key duties include on-course visits, product presentations, line reviews, and strategic management of accounts to enhance Bad Birdie's market presence.
Role Details
- Reports to Head of Sales
- Remote work within Texas territory
- Frequent travel around Texas including possible overnight stays
Success Metrics (First 3–6 Months)
- Establish strong, consistent in-person relationships with accounts across the territory
- Expand business through both new client acquisition and deepening existing accounts
- Deliver brand-compliant line reviews and product presentations that encourage reorders and wider adoption
- Maintain an up-to-date, healthy sales pipeline and dependable follow-through
- Foster trust with internal teams via clear communication, accurate orders, and early problem identification
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and grow green grass accounts assigned within Texas
- Develop lasting relationships with buyers, owners, and club professionals
- Pioneer new account openings and enlarge Bad Birdie’s presence
- Conduct engaging and brand-centric product presentations and line reviews in person
- Analyze account performance and sell-through data to pinpoint sales opportunities
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Marketing, and Operations teams to support account needs
- Manage administrative tasks including order processing and follow-up
- Consistently represent and uphold Bad Birdie’s brand standards and service quality
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional setting related to sports, apparel, or consumer products
- At least 1 year’s experience in outside or field sales roles
- Familiarity with the golf industry and green grass distribution channels preferred
- Proven track record in building, managing, and expanding client relationships
- Ability to perform independently while maintaining cohesion with a broader sales team
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Willingness and ability to frequently travel within Texas
