About the Surgery Team

The Surgery business focuses on innovation at the point where biology and technology meet, developing next-generation solutions that are less invasive, more intelligent, and tailored to patient needs. The team supports surgeons and healthcare professionals with surgical technologies designed to address major health challenges including obesity, cardiovascular disease, and cancer.

This role is field-based and is primarily assigned to Abu Dhabi.

Role Summary

The organization is hiring a Territory Manager for Surgery to drive business growth, deliver quarterly and annual sales targets, and support the commercial expansion of the product portfolio across assigned customers and accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a focused list of target customers each quarter across all relevant segments to support the annual business plan.
  • Meet priority sales goals on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis by using time and resources efficiently.
  • Follow the sales cycle consistently and move prospects forward through each stage of the buying journey.
  • Develop the product knowledge needed to confidently represent the full portfolio across customer groups.
  • Ensure customers receive proper education on product use, capabilities, and value so satisfaction remains high.
  • Coordinate business relationships and internal/external communications in a professional, timely, and collaborative manner.
  • Attend operating room sessions with all relevant specialties three days each week.
  • Deliver in-service training on company systems to healthcare professionals, including surgeons and nurses.
  • Track performance against growth targets and ensure quarterly as well as annual sales goals are met.
  • Maintain a strong connection between sales activity, resource allocation, and customer conversion through the selling cycle.
  • Communicate clearly, accurately, cooperatively, and transparently with stakeholders.
  • Continue strengthening product and market knowledge to represent the portfolio effectively at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or Medical Science.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in medical devices.
  • Prior exposure to operating room environments is required, along with strong presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of tender management is needed.
  • Experience across Gulf countries is strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Understanding of surgical procedures and anatomy across different types of surgeries.
  • Leadership capability is essential.
  • Strong grasp of key account management principles.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and analytical abilities.
  • Self-driven, motivated, confident, and committed to customer focus and innovation.
  • Strong planning and resource allocation skills.
  • Ability to build positive customer relationships.
  • Solid understanding of market and competitor dynamics.
  • Strong market intelligence and networking skills.
