About Vinarchy and the Role

Join Vinarchy, a pioneering company in the wine industry with a portfolio featuring some of the most distinguished wine brands from Australia and New Zealand. We collaborate closely with our customers to make exceptional wines more accessible to a wider audience. We are currently seeking a Territory Manager to become part of our New Zealand Sales team. This unique role offers a four-day workweek based in Queenstown, combining autonomy and responsibility in a field-based position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve volume, value, and distribution objectives within your designated territory covering Queenstown and surrounding areas.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with retail clients, especially within grocery and independent off-premise sectors.
  • Execute in-store marketing activities including promotions, activations, and shelf arrangements.
  • Identify and capitalize on potential growth opportunities across your accounts.
  • Plan and manage your territory activities, including travel schedules and customer engagement cadences.
  • Facilitate product launches and enhance brand awareness in the market.
  • Utilize sales data and insights to drive performance improvements.

Candidate Profile

  • Self-motivated individual comfortable with managing results autonomously.
  • Previous experience in territory or field sales, preferably in FMCG sectors.
  • Background in grocery or retail sales channels.
  • Strong commercial insight coupled with a focus on achieving outcomes.
  • Proven skills in influencing customer decisions and executing in-store strategies.
  • Ability to handle a broad and geographically dispersed territory confidently.
  • Highly organized with strong personal drive.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge or formal qualifications in the wine industry would be advantageous.
