Role overview
Unique Organics Limited is looking for a proactive, detail-focused Tender Executive to manage end-to-end tendering work across Government Departments, PSUs, institutions, and the GeM portal. The role involves finding suitable opportunities, preparing bids, submitting documents on time, and supporting government procurement activities with accuracy and speed.
What you will do
- Track and shortlist relevant tenders from Central and State Government bodies, PSUs, GeM, and other procurement platforms.
- Prepare a daily update on tender status and overall progress.
- Review eligibility conditions to determine business fit and tender viability.
- Compile, prepare, and submit tender documents within the required deadlines.
- Manage GeM activities end to end, including bidding, product listings, and other portal-related tasks.
- Work with internal teams to collect technical, commercial, and compliance documents needed for submissions.
- Prepare tender-related drafts such as letters, declarations, agreements, and related correspondence.
- Attend pre-bid discussions, site visits, vendor interactions, and clarification meetings whenever required.
- Keep clear records of tenders that are submitted, active, awarded, or lost.
- Follow up on bid outcomes, purchase orders, contracts, and related next steps.
- Ensure all submissions meet tender rules, legal terms, and procedural requirements.
- Be willing to take on additional work based on business needs.
- Explore tender opportunities across India to strengthen government business potential.
Skills and experience required
- Graduation in any discipline; commerce, management, or similar backgrounds are preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in tender handling and GeM portal operations.
- Solid understanding of government procurement workflows.
- Hands-on experience in tender documentation, bid preparation, and online submission processes.
- Strong written communication, drafting, and coordination abilities.
- Comfortable using MS Excel, MS Word, email, and online portals.
- Able to manage multiple tenders at once while working to strict deadlines.
- Organized, patient, and highly attentive to detail.
