Role Summary

The Tendering Specialist is a full-time position located on-site in Coimbatore. This role oversees the comprehensive tender lifecycle, including identifying suitable tenders, analyzing requirements, managing document preparation, and ensuring submissions adhere to deadlines. Responsibilities include crafting both commercial and technical proposals, interfacing with internal departments such as sales, finance, and engineering, and maintaining tender documentation and tracking systems.

Key Duties

• Evaluate tender documents and clarify specifications with relevant stakeholders.
• Support procurement-related inquiries and monitor tender outcomes.
• Stay current with industry regulations and suggest improvements to tender procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in Tender Management and Procurement to administer full tender processes and interactions with vendors.
• Strong analytical capabilities to scrutinize tender specifications, assess commercial terms, and evaluate risks and benefits.
• Effective communication and proposal drafting skills to deliver clear and coordinated submissions.
• Experience in tendering, contracts, or sales support within engineering, medical device sectors, or related fields is advantageous.
• Preferred educational background includes a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, commerce, or related disciplines.
• Proficient with MS Office and fundamental documentation tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work methodically, adhere to schedules, maintain precise records, and handle sensitive commercial data with discretion and accuracy.
