Role Overview
This position is for a tendering professional based in Qatar who will handle the end-to-end management of manpower and service contract bids. The role calls for someone highly detail-focused, organized, and comfortable working to strict timelines while ensuring every submission aligns with client expectations and tender conditions.
Key Duties
- Search for, monitor, and assess opportunities related to manpower and service tenders.
- Run the full tender workflow, including pre-qualification activities and final bid submission.
- Draft and assemble both technical and commercial bid packages according to tender instructions.
- Examine tender documents, scope details, and contract terms to understand all obligations.
- Work with internal teams such as HR, Finance, and Operations to gather the inputs needed for proposals.
- Build pricing models, cost calculations, and commercial offers.
- Check that every submission is complete, accurate, and fully compliant with requirements.
- Keep tender files, submission records, and related documents well organized and easy to retrieve.
- Track submission timelines closely to ensure bids are delivered on time.
- Communicate with clients to address clarifications, revisions, and discussions after bid submission.
- Assist with contract negotiation and support a smooth transition of awarded work to delivery teams.
Qualifications and Experience
A bachelor’s qualification in Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required. The candidate should bring at least 7 years of experience in tendering, specifically for manpower or service contracts. Experience in Qatar or across the GCC is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Solid understanding of tendering workflows, documentation standards, and compliance needs.
- Confident use of MS Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Excellent accuracy and a well-structured approach to work.
- Ability to juggle several tenders at once while meeting demanding deadlines.
- Good analytical thinking and practical problem-solving ability.
- Effective collaboration and coordination across teams.
