Role overview
OLLY is looking for a Customer Service Representative to provide responsive, high-quality support to customers and retailers. This role focuses on handling inquiries, resolving issues, and keeping order operations running smoothly across internal teams and external partners.
What you’ll do
- Deliver an excellent customer experience through clear, timely communication with customers and retailers.
- Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and the wider supply chain team to support day-to-day operations.
- Manage customer orders end to end using EDI and Microsoft D365, including troubleshooting issues as they come up.
- Coordinate with 3PL partners to help maintain finished goods inventory levels that support order fulfillment.
- Support customer and item master data setup and maintenance.
- Help with bills of materials, UPC creation, and completion of customer-specific data hubs in Salsify.
- Work with the S&OP Manager to identify orders that may need to be cut, manage allocations, and monitor open orders, available stock, and aged inventory as needed.
- Assist with onboarding new customers by completing new item requests, collecting routing guides, and sharing timely updates and reports.
- Compile key metrics and KPIs to track customer service performance.
What we’re looking for
- 1 to 5 years of experience in customer service; background in CPG and inventory management is preferred.
- Solid commercial judgment and a working understanding of warehouse, inventory, and logistics processes.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to spot issues early and take initiative to solve them.
- Clear, honest communication skills and strong listening ability.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and stay organized in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong Excel and arithmetic skills.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and self-driven.
Working details
This is a remote role based in the United States. The position is full-time at 40 hours per week and runs for 5 months on a contract basis. The hiring manager for this role is the Customer Service Manager.
