Job Overview
The Teller position is pivotal in delivering outstanding customer service while accurately handling a broad range of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, ensuring adherence to banking standards and protocols.
Key Duties
- Warmly welcome customers and provide timely, respectful, and efficient service.
- Accurately process financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Manage cash and check transactions, ensuring daily balance of all dealings.
- Support customers with inquiries related to international money exchange.
- Maintain and reconcile the cash drawer daily.
- Comply strictly with all bank policies, guidelines, and regulations.
- Address customer concerns politely, escalating issues beyond authority to supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum educational qualification is a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfort and proficiency in direct, face-to-face customer interactions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to perform rapid and precise work.
- Experience ranging from none up to five years is acceptable.
