Technology Project Specialist – Airline Revenue & Offer Management

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Offer, this position focuses on overseeing and delivering technological projects within airline commercial systems. The specialist will primarily manage initiatives related to Revenue Management, Offer Management, Pricing, Distribution, Ancillaries, and various airline retailing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle management of technology projects across airline commercial areas including Revenue Management and Offer Management.
• Create and update project plans, schedules, RAID logs, governance materials, and progress reports aligned with PMO standards.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, scope definition, impact analysis, and solution design in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery efforts involving internal teams, vendors, and third-party technology partners such as Amadeus and other commercial platform providers.
• Handle project scope, risk, issue, dependency, and change control processes.
• Ensure projects involving core airline platforms like Amadeus PSS, PROS, ATPCO, Airnguru, NDC, and Offer Management deliver expected business value and readiness.
• Promote communication and alignment between commercial, revenue management, distribution, digital, technology, PMO, and vendor groups.
• Support activities related to testing, implementation preparedness, user adoption, post-launch evaluation, lessons learned, and project closure.
• Keep senior leadership informed about project progress, risks, decision points, and critical dependencies.
• Identify and suggest enhancements to improve delivery effectiveness, system integration, and enablement of commercial technology capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a closely related field.
• Minimum five years of experience managing technology or business transformation projects, preferably in airline, travel tech, aviation, or digital commerce sectors.
• Demonstrated experience working with airline commercial technology platforms, such as Revenue Management, Pricing, Offer Management, Distribution, Ancillaries, or retailing systems.
• Hands-on involvement in projects deploying or supporting Amadeus PSS, PROS, ATPCO, Airnguru, NDC, Offer & Order Management, or comparable airline platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of airline business operations including revenue management, pricing, inventory control, availability, distribution, and commercial optimization.
• Proven ability to collaborate with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, external vendors, and system integrators for complex project execution.
• Strong grasp of project governance, planning methodologies, risk and dependency management, stakeholder communications, and tracking benefits realization.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Capable of handling competing priorities within a multifaceted airline technology environment.
