About the role
An opportunity is available for a Transport Technician to join the Nelson transport group in a newly established office. You will support engineering consulting work across transport, civil, three waters, and geotechnical projects. The role sits within a close, multidisciplinary team and involves helping key transport clients with network and asset management tasks while meeting agreed timelines and quality expectations.
The Nelson office has 65 other professionals who are actively involved in the local community and enjoy the lifestyle the Nelson/Tasman region offers.
What you will do
- Assist with delivery of engineering consulting services across transport, civil, three waters, and geotechnical work.
- Support network and asset management activities for transport clients.
- Contribute to project delivery within required schedules and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with a small local transport team and a wider multidisciplinary office.
What we are looking for
- A relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a closely related area.
- At least 2 years of experience in a relevant discipline.
- A current driver’s licence with a clean record.
