Job description
Job Summary
This role involves providing essential on-ground assistance during installation and new connection operations in the field. The Technician Helper supports technicians by handling materials and maintaining safety and cleanliness at job sites.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with carrying and managing cables, meters, and other installation materials required for new connections.
- Support technicians in activities such as service line installation, meter box mounting, and site preparation.
- Ensure job sites remain clean and safe throughout and after installation procedures.
- Transport materials between storage facilities and field sites as needed.
- Communicate any site-related problems or safety concerns to the supervising technician or junior engineer promptly.
Skills and Qualifications
- Physically able to perform manual labor and field support duties.
- Open to following instructions accurately and collaborating effectively within a field team.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety protocols and awareness.
