For its service team in Qatar, the company is seeking a Technician who can deliver high-standard vehicle servicing and repair work in accordance with dealership and manufacturer requirements. The role focuses on quality workmanship, efficiency, productivity, and providing customers with a dependable first-time-fix experience.
Key responsibilities
- Perform servicing and repair tasks on customer vehicles based on the repair order and workshop plan.
- Accurately identify faults and complete corrective work in line with company and principal standards.
- Highlight any extra repair needs and share estimated costs where necessary.
- Keep check sheets, log sheets, and all required technical records up to date.
- Take proper care of tools, equipment, and the allocated work bay.
- Help the workshop meet efficiency targets by completing assigned work within the scheduled time.
- Carry out final checks and aim to eliminate repeat repairs.
- Take part in training, internal evaluations, and certification requirements.
- Observe workshop safety rules, use PPE correctly, and report incidents immediately.
Requirements
- Strong practical knowledge of vehicle servicing, repair work, and troubleshooting.
- 2 to 3 years of experience as a technician in an automotive dealership.
- ITI or Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
- Solid understanding of workshop processes, standards, and operating methods.
- Ability to work with automotive tools, equipment, service manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on background in a workshop environment repairing and maintaining vehicles.
- Familiarity with automotive parts, repair workflows, and dealership service expectations.
- Valid driving experience and confidence in handling customer vehicles.
- Hardworking, honest, and productivity-focused work style.
- Willingness to complete internal assessments and certification steps tied to the job level.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and workshop systems.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on fixing issues correctly the first time.
- Awareness of safety practices and commitment to a clean, organized workplace.
Team environment
You will join the Service Department and report to the Service Supervisor. The team is focused on strong after-sales support, customer satisfaction, workshop productivity, technical excellence, and ongoing improvement through training and development.
