The Role

We are seeking a full-time Technical Recruiter based in New York City who will play a pivotal role in managing the entire recruitment process for Kargo globally. This position is part of the People Operations Team and works closely with Human Resources and hiring managers from the tech and product functions to attract top talent. The Technical Recruiter is responsible for developing a deep understanding of departmental needs, serving as both a brand ambassador externally and trusted business partner internally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and hire the most qualified candidates for technical and product roles using effective sourcing methods, recruitment best practices, and personalized approaches.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers across departments to fill current vacancies and forecast future hiring requirements.
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by ensuring timely communication, thorough feedback, and clear expectations.
  • Utilize recruiting tools and software such as Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and BuiltIn for talent acquisition activities.
  • Implement Kargo’s employer branding and networking initiatives to enhance talent attraction.
  • Maintain and manage an ongoing talent pipeline through sustained engagement with stakeholders.
  • Work alongside the Manager of People Operations to create competitive compensation packages aligned with market standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years of recruitment experience, specifically focusing on technical and product roles.
  • Capability to strategically develop and refine full-cycle recruiting processes, from candidate sourcing through hiring.
  • Proven success recruiting talent at all organizational levels ranging from entry to executive positions (Coordinator to VP level).
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms including Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Strong sourcing and recruiting expertise with the ability to consult and advise hiring managers effectively while providing excellent customer service.
  • Experience managing high-volume recruitment in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Prior recruitment experience in advertising technology, creative sectors, or startups is advantageous but not mandatory.

Work Schedule and Compensation

This is a full-time position requiring four days per week in the office, with a mandatory presence on Mondays. The annual base salary ranges from $100,000 to $140,000 USD, complemented by a discretionary bonus. Salary may vary based on factors such as location, experience, education, and skills, adhering to relevant pay transparency laws.
